Most people associate New York City with Manhattan, however New York has so much more to offer. There is plenty of cool places to visits on the opposite side busy city center. Brooklyn and Queens are both inspiring urban areas in walking distance from Manhattan and gives the perfect opportunity to pass Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy the incredible view of the countless skyscrapers.

New York is booming of restaurants and cafes, and in these multicultural surroundings, finding exactly whatever you crave will not be a difficult task. However, there is no need to rush to find the most expensive and fancy restaurants. Just take out some cash and visit the cheaper but magical New York restaurants and rooftop bars that mostly cater to locals.

Wondering how long to spend in New York City? It is tempting to recommend a minimum of 3 days. At least! The city is so big and to visit the main attractions will take you a couple of days. Take your time, enjoy the vibe of the city and remember to feel like a true New Yorker.
